The Assignment -Frerard-

A pen-pal project with a local prison. Not high-security, hardly a bad task. Noone would write back anyway, that's why it was set.

Gerard, serving six years for rape (admitted) and murder (Pleaded not guilty) is shocked to receive a letter after being abandoned by his family. Maybe things aren;t o bad.

Frerard ensues.

Frank sat up in class at the teacher's droning as it got more interesting, they' be writig to prisoners in jail, cool thought fra, i can ask them about murer and shit like that. hee sat up straight and pulled out a en an som ppaper and wrote a rough draught of what he would say,

Dear prisoer,
Hi, I'm Frank Iero, I'm seventeen and writing to you for ann assignment in school. What did you do? What's your name? How old are you?
From Frank.

Gerard opened the letter with little interest. Yeah, some school kid would o be intrested in hi life. he read through quickly and grunted, penning the response as his own English A-level teacher glowered at him.

Frank,
My name's Gerard, I'm 36 and writing to you as part of our own 'assignment' so to speak. I doubt you want to know what I did, but tthey've hoved me in here for rape and murder. Liars.

Frank recieved the ext letter an opened it,

Dear Gerard,
I'm sorry about your situation, I hope that you get out if you are innocent, ut if you are lying, which is possible, I hope you sere your setece then becom good an-
My teacher's fiished looking oer my shoulder, sorry for all the optimistic bullshit, the truth is, you've been covicte so you are't getting out for aa while so you might as welll get use to my letters, an i ask alot of uestions, for xample, who was it you supposely raped? and murdered? Also, just complete curiosty, hows the food?

Gerard laughed at Franks letter, not caring about his bunkmates complaints

Frank,
Well, I'll admit to the 'rape', though I wouldn;t call it that. Some fifteen year old guy comes on real strong then decides he doesn't want it last minute. A mistake I guess. But the murder totally wasn't me, it's even been proven, they just won;t reduce my sentence. it's a pile of shit. Luckily I'll be up for parole in a few weeks.
The food's terrible. Never go to prison kid.

Dear Gerard,
I think if i was iin jai the last of my concerns would be food andif tht's the only reason you think i shouldn't go to prison, you kow not that i shouln't comit a crime I thik it's more likely you should be in an asylum, So what did you o today? We did some bullshit history, but it's okay because it was american history so we only have few hundered years and them boom you're done!

In Jail
"What are you laughing at, faggmatron?" Said Matt from the top bunk,

"Oh, just a letetr" smirked Gerard, flattening out his paper and scrawling back

Frank,
Sounds fun! Not. And maybe I should be, but we have a fucked up system. And I doubt some teenager a hundred miles away is going to listen to some guy who got sent to rpison right?
Anyway, wI haven't done much, there isn;t much TO do. I've drawn a bit (enclosed) and did some of my A level English course.

Frank opened the letter and reae it smmiling, he didn't write back because he felt like shit but he id look at the picture a gaspe at it's awesomenesss.

In Jail

"No letter toay then rapist," said Matt from across the class room with a sneer in his voice, he finishe his poem crap nd came over and punched erard, "I hope for the kids' sake they don't organise a visit, who knows what you'd do to him."

Gerard whined at the punch and glowered at Matt but didn't speak, isntead continuing to doodle on the corner of his paper "He just hasn't had time Ok? Besides, YOURS didn;t EVER write back to you"

Matt lunged at Gerard and pinne him to the floor. "Take it ack you bastar." he sai laying into him

"It's true!" snarled Gerard, trying to defend himself until a guard pulled Matt off. He stood up and wiped his face of blood. I can;t wait to get out of here

"Knock it off," Matt heard through bloody ears
"I'll get you for this, Way," said Matt an spat at him.

SKIPPING

Frank haulled himself out of bed and grabbe a pen and some pper.

Dear Gerard,
Sorry I have't written i a few weeks, I've had my appenix out and I felt like crap and tthen it was half term and apparently I can't write to you outsie school or something. HOw've you been? I've been a bit crap and sick but I'm better ow, I'll write more later but I have to o to home nw.

Gerard flipped him off and was escorted to his cell.

"Well Mr. Way, it appears your arole ha been approved. You understand the conditions yes?"

Gerard gave a small smirk, looking at the sekeltal man with is dark eyes "Completely" he drawled, thinking absently about his meeting with Frank later.

"Well, then, you're free to go"

Matt frowned as he watche Way leave on paroll. He spat on the floor and grabbed him through the bars, "Listen you dick, when i get out of here, I swear to go i'm goiing to fin you an kill you." he snarle.

Gerard smirked at him "Yo0u're serving 25 to life Matt.See you when I'm in my seventies" he snered, pulling away and walking out.

SKIPPING

Frank waite in the cafe with a bulletproof vest the only conspicuous item of clothing he owned. He sipped a coffee whilst he waited for Gerard to turn up.

Gerard strode througn the door and looked around, eventually seeing the slim boy. He slid into the seat across from him, looking like a vampire in his black suit and red tie.#
"Well, hello there Frank"

Frank looked up from his coffee and smiled at the man in front of him. "Gerard?" he asked making sure, in hindsight it was a bad idea to agree to Gerar's outfit being re tie black clothes as that was the cafe staff's work clothes a he' been looking up every two minutes for the past hourl.

"Yeah" smirked Gerard "I pologise for my attire, but it's the only clothes I have on me" he said, manaing another smile.

"It's fine infact you look really s-" he stopped before he coul say sexy, and coughed in a olame attempt to pretend he was just stopping for a cough, "really smart." he said sheepishly taking a big drink so he coulnt talk anymore an embarass himself.

Gerard flashed him a smile "Thanks" he smirked.

"Welcome," he muttered around his coffee, He had to admit Gerard was really hot, he was a bit thin from being in jail but he was still very good looking, if only he wasnt a convicted peado, because if he wasnt Frank would deffinately onsider this guy.

Gerard ook a sip of coffee an looked over his cup at the yo9unger. He was, and he coudln;t hel the thought, really hot. He told himself that this was exactly what had landed him in prion in the first place, but the boys peirced lip, faux-hawk and eyeliner really suited him.

Frank looked up into Gerard's hazel eyes and said,"So how long until you're off paroll?" he said licking his dry lips. He was thinking of scenarios of just what they could do without that damn paroll officer about,Thinking about it he grew hard in his pants.

"Three weeks of daily checks, then 0once monthly for the next three years"
